Members of the USCCE Community,
For the health and safety of everyone and as travel restrictions, social gathering limitations, and recommendations for social distancing and self-quarantines have occurred across the United States and around the world, the USCCE Executive Board has decided to postpone the North American Coach Development Summit that was planned for June 2020 in Birmingham, Alabama. The new date for the Summit is May 17-19, 2021 in Birmingham, Alabama.
If you have already registered for the Summit in Alabama, you will receive information directly about how to either roll your registration over to the new date or receive a full refund. If you were scheduled to present, you will receive an email from the planning committee about being a part of the May 2021 Summit program.
If you reserved a hotel room, please contact the Hilton Birmingham at UAB (205-933-9000) to cancel or reschedule your hotel room reservation for May 17-19, 2021. If you have booked your flight, please contact your airline to determine options for refunds or vouchers.
The Executive Board and Summit planning committee has now turned its full attention to organizing a Virtual Summit for June 1-3, 2020, the original Summit dates. The virtual event is in the early planning phase but we are striving to develop opportunities for virtual networking, idea sharing, as well as the annual membership assembly. Make sure you are signed up for the USCCE ShoutOuts to ensure you get all the latest information.
We hope that you are all healthy and engaging in good self-care during this time.
We encourage you to visit the CDC and the WHO websites (links below) to see their travel recommendations. Also, check with your airlines for any travel guidance. Many airlines are allowing you to book flights without penalties until the end of March.
